Here's a hodgepodge of photos I took over Saturday and Sunday. By Sunday I was more in the mode of hunting for some good deals from the vendors so I didn't really spend much time rubbernecking for photos, but I did get a few that I thought were interesting. Without further ado, here are some images from the weekend.

The Black Thor! I loved this costume and the guy was
really cool too.

One of the dealers was selling Rankin-Bass items and you could get your picture taken with Santa and his elf. I was soooo tempted!

Captain America and Wolverine.

A different view of Captain America. Obviously sitting around and hiding from Ironman and not getting his exercise! Seriously, he looks better than I would.

The coolest thing about this guy was how tall he was!

Now I know why Snake Eyes was there, and knowing is half the battle!

Obviously this photo occurs before episode III.

I don’t know what it is about these guys, but I love those costumes. I wish I had one myself.

This was one of the better Star Wars costumes of the Con.

As good as Boba Fett was, this Vader costume was top notch. The buttons on the guy’s chest even lit up!

Peter David talking about comic book script writing.

This is from the DC Editorial Panel. The DC Panels all weekend were high energy and great fun. From left to right; Jim Starlin, Paul Levitz, Geoff Johns, Keith Giffen, Dan Didio, Bob Wayne, Andy Kubert, and Adam Kubert. It was quite a panel.

These guys were all over the place this weekend.

There were two of these guys hanging around the Wizards of the Coast area. They were great and acted the part well.

The lady in the yellow blazer is Noel Neill, Lois Lane from the Superman TV series. What’s most interesting about this picture is the woman with the red curly hair and her back to the camera. That’s Jill Thompson, creator of Scary Godmother, helping snap photo’s for fans. What a nice thing to do!

I’m not quite sure which Star Wars thing she was, but this little girl was cute and very polite.

Neither of these costumes really worked, especially the vinyl Cap. It was borderline scarry.

The costume was really cool, but the guy in couldn’t measure up. He was kinda paunchy and sad—he definitely lacked the swagger.

Where are the X-Men when you need them? Nice Apokolips costume. This guy turned the corner at a booth and scared the crap out of me. The costume was huge and a bit intimidating, but it was cool nonetheless!

I love it when I see the whole family participating together. These three looked awesome!

I heard a lot of people talking about these guys and I finally saw them on my way out on Saturday. The costumes all looked homemade, which is really cool when you realize that the Hawkwoman mask was made from scratch. This was one of my favorite pictures of the weekend.

She was in Artists Alley. I forget who’s booth she was at, but I won’t forget her anytime soon. The best part is that she was really nice to talk to and didn’t even try to poke me with that pitchfork. Of course, my wife might have if she was there!!
